launderland
sounds so magical - like some kind of messed up dream for an amusement park. in actuality it's the just your average laundromat/washateria/launderette/self-service laundry - with a very cool name. found at the corner of villa and los robles.
Nice shot. Love the several ladders, including the blue one with a little roof for a rung.
There's a Launderland in Lincoln Park that I sometimes drive past on the way to work. Whenever I do, I think of the Springsteen song "Jungleland" and I sing to myself the refrain, "Down in Launderland."
A dream? No, a nightmare! A land where all you do is laundry? AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
