library from another angle...


not the first picture of our beloved library that i've posted, but definitely a different angle than you've seen before. it still strikes me as one of this city's most striking architectural pieces.

I LOVE libraries, books, bookstores, & especially book cafes. So many of us around here can say that. Probably because we have about as wide a variety of educational institutions in our small area as most anywhere.

The main library has wi-fi & a cafe.

Worked in my university library, researched in the LA County Law Library downtown, etcetera. Well, I could go on & on, but I'd better turn myself off.

But, we should have a contest to see who is the truly greatest lover!

I'm a big fan of all the smaller mid-century satellite libraries within Pasadena's system. We have a sweet little library off of Ave 64.

Neon alert!!! Lecian (?) shoes near the south west corner of Fair Oaks and Mission. You have to look for it but it's worth the trouble. Neon clogs!
