coyote!
this guy decided to follow me into the road on a recent bike ride through griffith park. the question, of course, is how do you pronounce coyote? kai-oat or kai-oat-ee?
-ee, of course, perhaps, maybe... Great capture there. He seems healthy, I hope so. We used to hear them when visiting my in-laws on the outskirts of Tucson (Tuck-son?) years ago.
Kind of looks like my dog...which makes me nervous about brining my dog out hiking and stuff, I always think people will think he's a fox or something! Cool picture though!

-ee. Or, eeeek! when I hear a pack of them in our neighborhood howling and celebrating a kill. I always try to remind myself-- they have to eat too.

ReplyDeleteThis guy was bold. We paused to look at him, and he actually started moving toward us. As we pedaled away I turned back to get this shot of him.
