chivas usa vs. toronto fc

we journeyed south to carson to watch a soccer game last night. while i'm far from a big soccer fan, i'm always interested in rooting for a team from toronto in any sport. unfortunately the visitors from the north lost 2-0, but we still had a great time.

I recommend the Canucks stick to hockey. And we stick to football.

The white house says that the US President Barrack obama would visit India upcoming months. The White House Press Secretary told that he knows that the president would travel India at some point of time. As a response to this Robert Gibbs told the reporters in his daily briefing on 31st of July that he doesn’t have any plan scheduled for the President moving to India in next 3 months .Later this year on November the Indian Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh is visiting United States as a state visit.

Thanks vijayanand - that's certainly related to my blog post.

I encourage you to attend LA Galaxy games if you can. The atmosphere is much more exciting than that of a chivas game. Games are almost always sold out and there are supporters groups that make the experience a unique one. There is no need for jumbtron to make people cheer. It definitely will be a football experience you won't forget.

While it wasn't full, I was impressed at the enthusiasm of the Chivas fans. The supporter sections were bouncing through the whole game. I'm not really a huge soccer fan - if I had to pick a team it would be Toronto - who has some fantastic fans from what I hear.
