cacti at the huntington

we made our first visit to the huntington last week.  it is going to take a lot of willpower to not spend the next several weeks filling the pages of this blog with the various plant-life that i photographed.  that is, unless you all want to see more!

  1. I went to the Huntington when I was in grammar school. I had always remember that the cacti were all huge and towered above me. Going back as an adult, I was somewhat disappointed because they weren't as tall as I had remembered them to be - but then I had been much smaller when I had visited the first time.

I go there every time I visit Los Angeles and still love it there.

  6. I know, a shame it took us this long. Fortunately we now have a year pass, so we'll be back for plenty more.
