on saturday night we enjoyed a lovely dinner out with friends. while we normally go for italian food at pasadena's "the kitchen", it was nice to take a step up. mi piace is always packed, seemingly no matter what time of day, and now we know why. the food was really very tasty, and the atmosphere was lovely.

Mi Piace is a great change to the more traditional Italian places around Pasadena... My wife describes it as Italian Fusion, whatever that means. Great place though... the break is so good!
Yep, I'd go to de Kitchen b4 this joint. All these years, bak into the last century even, I've never felt moved to visit this joint. However, I can see the great Euro atmosphere & all but never gotten any feeling this is a go to place for Italian. And, I've usually been disappointed by Italian.

Ya, first time visitor. As long time advocates of the Kitchen, I was skeptical, but happy with my experience. I wish it wasn't so crowded - the noise of the restaurant was almost too much from the kitchen, music, and guests.
They have a bakery on site as well, and I'm pretty sure that they do serve breakfast.
Can't beat the kitchen's deep dish pizza!
