i snapped off this photo of the 1000 santa maria valley steam engine on a recent visit to travel town. turns out it is a perfect photo to put on the blog for today.
this is the one thousandth posting on the sky is big in pasadena. in some ways it seems like a very long time since post number one. over 50,000 visitors have checked out this blog in that time! but in other ways, it feels like just yesterday i was starting this blog as a creative outlet during my three year program at fuller seminary.
our three year projected time line for life in pasadena has quickly turned in to what looks like four and a half years (maybe more?). who knows how long i can keep this up. it has been a fun journey so far!
