cathedral of our lady of the angels

los angeles is home to one of the most interesting modern cathedrals in the country.  this image was taken by simply pointing my camera toward the ceiling in one particular corner of that sacred space.

The light and perspective make this an award winning photo. I could be looking up or I could be looking down. You really challenge the viewer to think about the perspective. The light is fantastic. Places of worship are obviously places where you connect. Perhaps you should do a series?
