in case you didn't already know, pasadena has one of the greatest public information officers of any town in the world. what makes ann so great? well for one, she has a fantastic blog where she fills people in on what is happening in pasadena, fascinating historical details about our amazing city, and even a "mystery monday" series where you can win pasadena related prizes.

ann invited local bloggers to join her this past saturday for a tour of our beloved city hall. over the next few days i'll post some images from our afternoon together. it was wonderful to finally meet some of my favorite bloggers face to face.

i had no idea that pasadena was the final destination of the first transcontinental flight until i found this plaque marking the location. interesting then that our public information officer's weekly mystery history lesson turned out to be about this very event! visit ann's site every monday for more mystery history and a chance to win a prize.

pasadena is fortunate to have a fantastic public information officer. she writes a very interesting blog and even hosts a weekly contest - of which i recently won! ann was extremely welcoming, and like my fellow blogger petrea, she offered to give me a tour of some of the lesser seen angles of city hall.
