arcade lane clock tower

the other day i noticed that this somewhat unassuming shopping area has a clock tower.  i've lived here for three years and never noticed.  sometimes the little details just pop out when you least expect it.

we're leaving today for a week in ontario to give the baby a chance to meet our friends and family.  if i'm slow responding to comments, that is why.  see you all soon!

home of several businesses and restaurants, this pasadena location is tucked away just off of colorado blvd. i think it is worth the visit to check out its nooks and crannies.

the nose wine cellar

tucked back in a little plaza along colorado blvd is this lovely little wine shop. we went there the other night to have a nice night out with some friends and were pleasantly surprised with what we found.

they offer several wines by the glass on a rotating basis. their goal is to sell only organically or bio dynamically produced labels. they have an extensive bottle collection available for purchase, and even a nice selection of tapas and finger foods to eat along side your vintage of choice.
