archstone del mar station apartments
these multi-colored apartments are situated right over a metro stop. amazingly convenient, but i do wonder how noisy it might be living above a metro train.
I'm glad you featured this structure. After reading about it, I'd like to go inside and check it out. It's LEED certified, for one thing. And kind of unique to Pasadena. You can live there, commute from there, eat and shop there, etc.
I live in the complex. I've lived in 2 seperate units though...I could hear the train in my first unit because the windows were above the tracks, however, since I transferred to my newest unit its on the opposite side of the building (Raymond Ave. side) and I can't hear a peep. I love my new unit, then again, where can you find a 1,200 sq. ft. apartment overlooking Pasadena's "Central Park"? My view is AMAZING!!
KZ, thanks for sharing! That's really helpful info to know. It looks like such a cool building, and really makes a lot of sense from a commuting perspective and just an ideal living environment.
