green street illuminated

the trees lining pasadena's green street are currently wrapped in christmas lights. it makes for a very mystical effect while you drive along, or in my case, ride your bike. this image doesn't quite capture the beauty the way i hoped - i may have to go out in pursuit of a better one...

Oh, I don't know about that Ben. I like it, all the way down to the shiny street.

BW, I need to get out on the streets more b4 de yr is out to take a few shots as well while they're lit up.

I don't know if I like the color choice for the tree trunks.

I may have said it before but Green St is one of my favorite routes to drive home on. I usually hold up traffic by driving slow with my windows down, preparing the camera for a shot.

Ha! Ben, I took one looking the opposite direction. I like yours better because you caught a bit of the dusky sky blue that melts into the blue of the lights. Nice one.

Beautiful. I prefer the icy blue lights to the warmer white lights. Of course when you mix in the ultramarine blue lights I swoon.

If we had a Blue Street, would the pretty little lights be green?

PIO, that is the funniest thing I've heard all day!

Thanks for the compliments everyone, I didn't think this picture would be such a big hit!
