the baseball road trip of a lifetime
two nights ago, i had the privilege of attending the dodgers game in which the home team celebrated with a walk-off win, courtesy of a balk thrown by the diamondbacks.
although this would appear on the surface to be similar to the many dodger games i've attended throughout the last three seasons, this one was a little different. you see, i had the pleasure of attending the game with navin vaswani, who is currently in the midst of the baseball road trip of a lifetime.
the dodger game was his 27th different ballpark this season, with only san fran, oakland, and seattle left on his list. it was great to hear his stories and compare his impressions of the various parks with the few that i've been to, as well as share memories of my own ball park journey from last summer.
finish strong, navin! great to meet you.

Oh man! That is my husband's dream trip...maybe someday with the boys.
Pretty crazy. It has taken me a long time to get to all the parks I've been to, and I still have a long way to go.
Ben, you are pure class. Thank you for arranging the tickets; they were fantastic. Was a pleasure to meet you and talk baseball with you. Do keep in touch. And Go Jays!!!1
The pleasure was mine! Hope all is well.
