two downtown buildings

this unassuming shot of two of downtown pasadena's high rise buildings is simple, if not patriotic (see the american flag?).  but it is significant because the taller of these two buildings - the at&t building - apparently is on the market.  brigham yen has an interesting idea for the space.  what do you all think?

It's also an interesting study in facades. One is historic and intersting, the other is '70s and boring.

Great point. I like the window air conditioners sticking out of the older building.

I agree with Pasadenapio. That 70s Building can go and I would not shed a tear. Calling all architects: have a new idea? (http://www.templecitydailyphoto.blogspot.com)
