grand central market

i'm ashamed it took almost four years for me to visit los angeles' grand central market.  if ever there was a place calling my name, it would have to be something like this.  fast food and produce from a variety of cultural backgrounds, all at affordable prices in one convenient location.

I can vouch for the affordable. The prices are amazing. You'll have to go back with a shopping cart.

Nice photo - was it easy to get up there?

Yes, I am standing on the elevated eating area at the back end of the facility. No problem to get this vantage point.

I went there six years ago and it was filthy, so I never went back. But just from this photo I can tell it's a night & day difference - when I went you could barely see the floor it had so much trash scattered all over it. If this is what it looks like now, I will return.

It was a slow Sunday evening, so maybe that makes a difference.

How's the parking? Is it free on Sun?

There is a parking garage, but it isn't free (although you can get validation).

Looks like a fun place to do some grocery shopping, especially for produce! Don't forget your eco bags!

Sounds wonderful. How could you make up your mind with all of those choices?
