Love those palm trees. Actually, it took me a while to "love" them, being from the East Coast. They make for great shadows across a sunset sky.

Palm trees are practically worthless for shade, but they are so mysterious and seductive that it's hard not to fall in love with them.

SKY SEARCHER

A woman who searched the night sky
Discovered a star way up high
That twinkled and glowed
And lit up the road
So now she can see where things lie!

Definitely not great for shade, but what amazes me about palms is the variety of shapes and sized they come in. Here they make wonderful tall silhouettes against your soft sky.
