my wife meredith discovered that the pasadena post office is something i needed to blog about. the stained glass ceiling alone (photo above) is worth going in to check out. for those of you who have lived in pasadena for a while, or grew up around here this is probably old news, but i was blown away by the sight inside.

It's beautiful! Did Meredith take this shot? Nice job. I tried getting some shots outside the other day, but the sun was too bright and they didn't look so great. This is gorgeous. Built in the days when details were added just for the sake of beauty.
For sure. I took this one, but I credit her with the idea! They don't build 'em like they used to!
There's a smaller post office closer to my house, but I'm going to go mail something at this one just to see inside. I've never been in there.
