oh my - chicken 'n waffles

we ventured out with some friends last night to FINALLY make the pilgrimage to roscoe's chicken and waffles' pasadena location.

i must admit that the combination of syrup, waffles, and fried chicken was something i was skeptical of, it really was quite tasty. delicious in fact. i'm still full.

Strange combo of waffles with chicken! But then, some house-guests think it's funny that we put peanut butter and maple syrup on our waffles!

Your wife's friend is eyeing her plate: "I wunder if she's gonna eat that? Maybe I can just take it when she's not looking!"

I love it that you have a tag labeled Butter.

I remember going to Roscoes years and years ago. Cool!

Leif, you eat peanut butter and syrup too??? I grew up with peanut butter and syrup on the table for pancakes and waffles. Mom would always have out the cottage cheese for some reason too.

I think our friend was eying up Meredith's plate because of her giant pile of grits that came with her smothered chicken. It looked kind of weird...

Laurie, it made me smile putting in the butter tag. Made me wonder if I'll ever use it again!
