brenner park (and some very exciting news!)
this quaint little park has these unique white canopy structures that seem straight out of the 70s. i'm sure there is a story behind them...
from the city website:
"Brenner Park is located at 235 Barthe Drive on the corner of Mountain Street and Barthe Drive. Hours of operation are from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm. The size of the park is 1.7 acres. A neighborhood park, which contains one softball diamond for day use with bleacher seating for 72 spectators; one lighted tennis court; and one lighted basketball court; a small open play area; a tot lot; picnic tables, some with canopies; restrooms; and drinking fountains."

Gorgeous!!! Congrats to you and mom!
Congratulations Ben!!
I'm enjoying the park series, by the way. I've fond memories of a few of these, especially Victory Park, where my dad took us kids to fly kites.
Congratulations to you and your wife, Ben!

Thanks for the lovely comments, everyone!
You're already a great papa, Ben!
Oh my goodness! What an angel!
I just read that babies in Bali are not allowed to touch the ground until they're six months old, because they're thought to be gods until then. At six months they join the human race in a ceremony, when their feet first touch the ground.
Congratulations, Ben and Meredith!
How incredible a blessing!
I know mom & child are doing well, It's the pop I'm most concerned about.
Congratulations, BW!!
HA! Thanks Cafe. I appreciate the sentiment.
Congratulations on the birth of your daughter! Have fun with her and remember - there is no such thing as taking *too many* pictures.
