skywatching at j.p.l. and hahamongna

i've been discovering more and more about our local area parks because of a top secret project i'm working on (for a hint, check out the comments on this post). today's photo is of hahamongna park with nasa's jet propulsion laboratory in the background.

for more on the fate of this lovely space, check out petrea's perspective at pasadena daily photo.

more bloggers doing the skywatch friday thing can be found right here.

I tried to figure out the top secret project but I just can't seem to crack the code.

Nicely photographed, Ben, with four distinct layers. Top layer: burn area. Then the green hills that were saved by the firefighters, then JPL, then the flood plain of Hahamongna in the foreground. Great shot.

Lovely spring flowers too in the fore-foreground. Ditto on the great shot & look forward to more discoveries as you continue with your TOP Secret project.

A good project - glad you aren't taking this secret to the grave with you. Pun intended...

That's a fantastic view of a landscape with a combination of natural and man made structures!
