orean the health express
i've often wondered about this place. their website claims to be the first vegetarian fast food take out restaurant. i really should give it a shot sometime.
I have gone for years and really like their food. Not sure about this, but I think they are owned by a Pasadena family. I do know they serve a pretty mean peach cobbler made with honey and granola.
I love this place. I've been going there for years-- I love the Orean Burger and the chili cheese dog. And I love the eclectic personnel who work there-- always unusual, always fantastically nice. It's worth trying out.

It's pretty good for fast food... but calling it "the health food express" ... I would not call it healthy! But I do like it's originality
If you're a vegetarian and craving for hotdogs, burgers and such, this is the place for you. Personally, I prefer real food.

I love Oinkster! But I'm a burger and beer guy, and they do both so well.
I still haven't been to Orean.
