our local public library has this quaint little bubbling fountain outside.  i'm not sure i've captured it perfectly, but i like the way the water ripples on the top.

up on the second level of the paseo colorado shopping complex is this beautiful plaza and fountain which always catches my eye as we walk on by.

indoor fountain along lake avenue

seriously? 

the other day i walked in to this group of shops along lake avenue and discovered this indoor fountain and spiral staircase.

i never would have guess it was here.  it just goes to show that there are still many things about pasadena that i have yet to discover...

this photo needs little explanation. a photo of the beckman auditorium at caltech, taken the other night before the wailin' jennys concert. that fountain just pops, doesn't it?

photo request #19: water fountains in pasadena

one of the requests from earlier this week was from my co-worker jon (who has a fantastic blog you should all go check out). he suggested that i check out the numerous fountains around pasadena. while wandering around this building in search of a different photo (details on that adventure later), i found this little beauty. sure, the fountain isn't that impressive, but click on the photo. see that mosaic image of city hall above the bench? how sweet is that? thanks for the excellent suggestion jon.
