on a more serious note, if you haven't figured out how to support the relief effort after the haiti earthquake, consider donating to mennonite central committee. mcc has been doing relief work for decades, and they have been active in haiti for a number of years. if you live in canada, they are one of the organizations that the canadian goverernment has selected to receive matching funds.

This is great info, Ben. I mentioned on my blog post about Haiti that people should also find out if their employers do matching funds for contributions. Many big companies do, as long as you donate to the charitable organizations on the employer's approved list. It's a great way to increase the impact of your dollars.
