taco station on green street

after hearing glowing reviews from two of my favorite local bloggers - pulled porker and brigham yen - i had no choice but to venture to this fantastic little taco stand that just opened on green street. i've often admired this little gas station. in fact, it has been featured before on this blog.

well, i'm going to have to agree with my fellow bloggers. while the tacos were a little on the small side, the flavor was spectacular! i loved the fresh corn tortillas, and the pickled onions on the marinated pork taco were amazing. i'm really happy to see that this little quaint part of pasadena has a vibrant new life.

It's such a funky little place! Every time I go there or pass it there's a long line of people.

It was great seeing you and your family today, Ben!

I've been here twice now, bw.
Like everyone else I also like this joint. But, at this point it sounds like maybe a bit less than the others.

It was great to see you again & your family! What you think of CPK?

Have you done a review of the place, Cafe? If you have, sorry for not linking to you.

It was good to see you as well. We were wondering at our table if CPK knew that they were serving a huge group of bloggers who could single-handedly bring down their place with a swarm of bad reviews.

The food was fine, and we had a good time.

Sounds like a fun time was had today. Sorry I had to miss it! You all better post about it. :)

Is this taco stand where I think it is? Over by PCC? If so I'm glad to see someone making good use of this cute, retro station.

Yep, I think you know where it is.

Petrea, we missed you today!

I missed you guys, too. I wish I could have come but I only found out about it a week ago. I'm so out of it!

That is such an awesome use of a great location. I've always wanted to turn on of thos old gas station into an espresso stand. Not surprising, I guess, given my obsession with coffee!

And belated congratulations on the birth of your little girl!
