de milo design studio

recently i ventured down to south pasadena to check out the brand new studio space of de milo design.  this incredible space (located on mission st) is owned and operated by our friend annika, and it is the perfect place if you are looking for an eco-friendly and fair trade shop for your printing needs.

what's more, annika is also a local blogger who documents the process of many of her creations, as well as the stories behind the products she sells, and the people and parts of the world where they are made.

Annika's studio is open every weekday afternoon. You should stop by and check it out!

I like the equipment. We have an old linotype machine in our lobby (SGVN HQ) adorned with a pix of Albert Einstein checking it out or one similar).

Mission in South Pasadena has so many interesting shops. Thanks for alerting us to this one - I love it.
