this seemingly innocent picture from santa monica pier is actually a piece of tv history. several episodes of seinfeld featured either george or jerry contemplating life at this very location. and you thought the show was based in new york! i've included some proof below...

Excellent--I'll check it out. The Santa Monica pier has a lot of film history. It's fun discovering new film shots at such a familiar location (for us LA locals).
