i've never been to roy's. this pasadena location just opened a little while ago. while i was on the fence before about going, the fiery torches are bound to win me over soon! also, the fact that roy is the name of
my favorite baseball player, is even more enticing...
any thoughts on this chain? is it worth checking out?

The chef whose namesake is on this place is pretty famous for his fusion creations. I used to watch him on the Food Network and he did some amazing things that were kind of Hawaiian/Japanese/California cuisine.
(Those torches always freak me out when I drive past them!)
Agreed, they are pretty intimidating! I like it.
Ben, I've answered your question. Go and see for yourself. I'm drumming up business for you. Whats that? I think I hear the trash truck coming now! gotta go
All of my life's problems are solved! I love it. And I just heard the garbage man drive by...
Nicely done with the flames.
Hey, I have to go put out the trash, and of course check on what they neighbors have left.
Roy's is a chain of restaurants. Most patrons on Colorado dine al fresco.
I heard, it's slightly XXXpensive. So, I'll skip this one for a while, on a gonna the economy.
Thanks 4 keeping me in mind.
I went on the night they opened. We went to the bar because apparently the night was completely reserved. Nice service. We even didn't mind when the fire alarm went off. We were on our way to a movie at the Laemmle, but it was still going off after 5 minutes. How embarrassing for them, eh?
i found their food good, but expensive.
That's helpful. Thanks for sharing! So maybe a place to go on a special occasion or something... maybe when the 'rents are in town and buying.
