many people don't realize how easy it is to take public transportation from pasadena to los angeles international airport. simply take the gold line south to union station and then get on the flyaway bus which will take you directly to your terminal. $5.25 for the whole trip is a steal based on the price of gas and airport parking.

I visit LA fairly often. These days I usually don't have a car. Many people seem to be under the impression that no one uses transit in LA.
In fact, the transit system is pretty good especially since light rail. If I'm going to LAX from downtown or vice versa I usually take the Blue and Green Line. Flyaway would be more convenient and not very much more money.

How long does it take to get to LAX using the flyaway? I would totally do that next time instead of dealing with long term parking.

I use Flyaway for all of my trips through LAX (from Pasadena). It rocks! Laurie, it takes about 45 minutes or so from Union Station to LAX, depending on traffic.
