the county building
another angle of pasadena's courthouse. i'll let you be the judge of its architectural character. some scoff at it - especially when held up next to the beautythatsurrounds it.
This ugly building also broke another record, a first, was allowed to be taller than the top most point of our beloved City Hall. The tower view of City Hall was unobstructed until this "clump" was constructed.

That horrible county court building is the blight of the Pasadena Civic Center area. We hate it.
Some may remember when the exterior was brick red, which was even more garish than the whitewashed exterior that is there today.
